Intervention at Lakeshore General Hospital
Following several reports about the Lakeshore General Hospital emergency room, the Protecteur du citoyen decided to investigate.
Investigation conclusions
For each disclosure or report it receives, the Québec Ombudsman determines whether or not it can investigate. At the end of an investigation, if we see that wrongdoing has occurred, we make recommendations. We make them to the responsible authorities so that the situation is corrected or the problem is denounced. Here are investigation conclusions that show how our interventions are carried out.
