Special investigations

The Québec Ombudsman may decide to conduct investigations into major issues on its own initiative. Our interventions have a collective scope. Often they make it possible to correct problems that affect several people or groups of people and to prevent recurrence.

    Report on government services for children with PDDs

    The Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, the Ministère de la Famille et des Aînés, the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport, and the Office des personnes handicapées du Québec have agreed to implement the recommendations issued in the Québec Ombudsman's report on government services for children with pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs).
