A person filed a complaint against the Ministère de la Famille because it had provided contradictory information.

At first, the person was told that the childcare proposal had been refused. Two months later, an email from the Department informed the proposer that the project had been approved. In phoning the Department, the person learned that the email should never have been sent.

Because of a computer glitch, 68 people received a similar email, even though their proposals had been turned down too. The Department knew about this but had done nothing to correct the information sent by mistake.

At the Protecteur du citoyen’s request, the Department emailed the people concerned to clarify the situation.
