Anyone can disclose a wrongdoing committed within or relating to a public body.
You do not need to be an employee of the government or public body concerned to make a disclosure.
You may know that wrongdoing has occurred without knowing exactly who did it. This should not prevent you from disclosing the information you have.
- An employee of a public body concerned by the Act, regardless of rank;
- Any person, business or group who or that commits a wrongdoing relating to a public body concerned by the Act (e.g. mismanagement of public funds awarded to a non-profit organization).
Need information? Feel free to call us before making a disclosure. We can help you through the process and, if necessary, give you financial assistance to consult a lawyer of your choice.
