A Special Investigation Report by the Protecteur du citoyen into the Handling of the Listeriosis Crisis Surrounding Québec Cheeses

In the report, the Protecteur du citoyen makes 13 recommendations, 12 of which are aimed at the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation, to improve its prevention mechanisms, intervention plans and management of foodborne illnesses. One of these 12 recommendations also applies to the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, as does the 13th recommendation.
