How do I make a complaint to the Québec Ombudsman?
Are you having trouble with a Government of Québec department or agency or a health and social services network institution? You can contact the Québec Ombudsman.
Can we process your complaint?
The Québec Ombudsman handles complaints concerning Québec’s public service and health and social services network institutions. To find out whether we are the right place for you to go with your complaint, see the Can we handle your complaint section of our website.
When your complaint concerns a Québec government department or agency, you can contact us directly.
For the health and social services network, we act as a second level of recourse. In such cases, you must contact the service quality and complaints commissioner of the institution you are dealing with. If you are dissatisfied with the commissioner’s conclusions, or if you have not heard back from him or her within 45 days, you can contact us.
